Why does my item look different from the picture on your website?

The product images on our website are provided by manufacturers, and they may not always have separate images for every product variation. We recommend that all customers refer to the product description and specifications when making a purchase. If you have any questions, our customer support team is happy to help!

Who manufactures Global Cable and Wire’s products?

To ensure competitive pricing and high quality, we source our cable and wire from top manufacturers in the industry, including Belden Cable, Coleman Cable, General Cable, Nexans, Southwire, and United Copper Industries. Our inventory varies daily, but we guarantee that all our products adhere to strict industry standards and are either backed by the manufacturer's warranty or our Global Cable and Wire's 1-Year Product Warranty against manufacturing defects.

What is your warranty policy?

  • Manufacturer’s Warranty: Some products may come with a manufacturer’s warranty, which will apply if available. Any claims related to manufacturer warranties must be directed to the manufacturer.
  • GCW Product Warranty: If a product not covered by a manufacturer’s warranty has a manufacturing defect within one (1) year from the invoice date, we will replace or repair the product at GCW’s discretion upon written notice and return of the item. This warranty does not cover installation costs, incidental damages, or loss of profits.

Note: The GCW Product Warranty applies only to OEM, commercial, or industrial users and purchasers reselling products not covered by a manufacturer’s warranty. All implied warranties, including those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are expressly disclaimed.

How do I track my order?

You can check your order status by logging into your GCW account and reviewing your order history:

  • Approved: Your order has been received and is being prepared for shipping.
  • Shipped/Completed: Your order has been fully shipped, and your payment has been processed.
  • Void: Your order has been canceled. If a charge was applied, a refund has been issued, which should reflect on your next statement.

My order hasn’t arrived—what should I do?

If your order has not been delivered, please:

  1. Check your email for any order updates, including cancellations or backorder notifications.
  2. Verify tracking details in your GCW account.
  3. If you still need assistance, contact our customer service team, and we’ll help track down your shipment.

Can I use my own shipping account?

Yes! If you’d like to ship using your FedEx or UPS account number, please call us at (516) 407-2416 before placing your order so we can assist with the process.
