General Shipping Information
At Global Cable and Wire (GCW), we prioritize fast, reliable order processing handled by real people who take care of preparing every order.
Processing Time: Most in-stock orders placed before 11:30 AM EST are processed within 5–7 business days. Our business days are Monday through Friday, excluding major U.S. holidays. During peak or high-volume periods, processing times may be slightly extended.
This timeframe reflects our standard processing window, and orders are actively prepared throughout this period.
Behind the scenes, our warehouse team is hands on with every order. from setting up master reels and measuring spools of wire to cutting, packaging, and preparing shipments with care. Each step is completed by experienced team members to ensure accuracy and quality before your order leaves our facility.
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email within 1-2 business days. You can also check your order status and tracking details anytime by logging into your account and SHOP APP.Â

Expedited Shipping
For urgent orders, we offer expedited shipping (Monday–Friday, excluding U.S. holidays). To qualify for same-day shipping, orders must be placed before 12 PM EST on a business day.
- Order Status: Buyers can track order status through their GCW account or Shop App.
- Shipping Responsibility: Once a product is loaded onto the carrier, the title and risk of loss pass to the Buyer.

Large Orders & Freight Shipping
We offer free standard freight shipping on orders over $500 within the continental U.S. (excludes Hawaii & Alaska). GCW reserves the right to select the most cost-effective shipping carrier for these orders.
For added security, large orders of $500 or more may require additional verification, which could cause a slight delay in processing in either Ground or Freight shipments. Unless expediated or guaranteed delivery dates have been arranged and paid for in advance.
Shipping Date Adjustments
If you need to reschedule, cancel, or refuse a shipment at the time of delivery, you will be responsible for any freight re-consignment fees associated with the change.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on order weight and destination. You can view estimated shipping charges by adding items to your cart and proceeding to check out. After entering your shipping address, all available shipping options and costs will be displayed before you finalize your purchase.
International Shipping
Currently, we do not ship directly outside the U.S. However, we can ship to a freight forwarder within the U.S. for international customers. For all international shipping inquiries, please contact us at (516) 407-2416. A minimum order of $10,000 is required for international shipments.
Exports & Compliance
For export sales, our standard export terms and conditions apply. All export orders must be confirmed in writing. The buyer is responsible for compliance with U.S. export control regulations and must not list GCW as the shipper or exporter of record.
